(二 )Mold meets process performance requirements.

Mold manufacturing generally involves several processes such as forging, cutting and heat treatment. In order to ensure mold quality and reduce production costs, the material must have good forgeability, machinability, quenchability, quench and grindability, and also small oxidation, decarburization sensitivity and quench. Modified cracking tendency.


1. Forging

It has a low tendency for low forging strain resistance, good firing, wide forging temperature range, forging cracks and precipitation of reticulated carbide.

2, annealing processability

The sphering annealing temperature range is wide, the annealing hardness is low, the fluctuation range is small, and the sphering rate is high.

3, cutting workability

Large cuts, low tool loss and low surface roughness.

4, Oxidation, Decaractivity Sensitivity

When heated at high temperature, the antioxidant energy is good, the decarburization rate is slow, and it is not sensitive to the heat medium, so there is little tendency to generate pits.

5, quenching

Uniform and high surface hardness after quenching.

6, quenching

After quenching, you get a deeply cured layer that can be hardened with a weak quenching medium.

7, hardening deformation cracking tendency

The change in the amount of quenching in the prior art is small, the shape is twisted, the distortion is small, and the abnormal strain tendency is small. Conventional quench cracks have low sensitivity and are not sensitive to quench temperatures and workpiece geometry.

8, crushability

The relative loss of the grinding wheel is low, the maximum amount of grinding without grinding is large, it is not sensitive to the quality and cooling conditions of the grinding wheel, and it is not easy to cause wear and grinding cracks.

(三) The mold meets the economic requirements.

The selection of fungi should take into account economic principles as much as possible to reduce manufacturing costs. Therefore, the first choice on the premise of using performance is low price, carbon steel can be used without alloy steel, and can be used without imported material. Also, when selecting materials, you need to consider the production and supply of the market, and selected grades should be as small and focused as possible and easy to purchase.
