3) Confirmation of size
Confirmation of the standard line of dimensions. Sometimes it is indicated on the drawing whether the “0” line is beyond the shape of the product, and whether there is a standard practice such as standard.
Confirmation of important management dimensions, etc. Can be noted on the drawing. Also, since a decision may be made when negotiating a new type of mold, it is necessary to confirm the "meeting record" item of the mold drawing folder in advance.
When you try it out, you should first discuss where to confirm the size. When the standard is derived from the inside of the product, the measuring instrument (vernier caliper) can be used to confirm that the size of the +·- side has been added.
4) Confirm the notes recorded in the remarks column of the product drawings, blanks, etc.
In the appearance range of exterior parts, etc.
Gate residue, thimble height, bending direction, bending, flashing, shrinking, etc.
5) Confirmation using resin
In the catalogue, it is confirmed that the resin is used for the first time, and in the past, the resin, the material properties of the newly opened resin, the drying conditions, the molding conditions, and the like are used.
2. Confirm the mold specifications and molding machine specifications according to the mold making specifications.
Is the mold 2 or 3?
Gate specifications. (side gates, latent gates, point gates, etc.)
Casting diameter, runner diameter. (mainstream, secondary runner)
Take the number.
One cycle. (shot time, dwell time, cooling time, intermediate waiting time, etc.)
With or without slider, oblique slider (inclined thimble) (pre-prepared from product drawings can also be predicted)
Forming machine specifications are as follows:
Calculate the weight of the 1 die and check if the injection capacity is sufficient. Even for the same model, it must be noted that if the diameter of the screw is different, the injection capacity changes.
1 mold weight (Kg) = (volume of product (cm2) × number of take + volume of flow channel (cm2)) × specific gravity of resin
Calculate the projected area and confirm that the clamping force is sufficient.
Clamping force (g) forming area of the forming surface (cm2) × average pressure in the mold (usually 400kg/cm2)
Third, the mold installation
1) Confirm whether the mold is placed in the molding machine and can be installed
The size of the mold and the beam spacing of the forming machine, the confirmation of the diameter of the positioning ring, the confirmation of the thickness of the mounting plate, the maximum opening of the mold, and whether the minimum thickness conforms to the specification.
2) Confirm problems that may occur during forming
Maximum spacing of the forming machine and product and material take-out space
The relationship between the nozzle and the mold (matching)
Thimble with or without back confirmation sensor
The position of the platen and the position of the hole are ok.
